Dr. David Chandler is a native of Gadsden and 1972 Graduate of Gadsden High School.  Born into a Godly family, he grew up surrounded by the example of faith expressed in the lives of his parents.  He married Sherry Griffith 35 years ago and they have two children and five grandchildren. 

Bro. David's early adult years were spent in secular employment before surrendering to God's holy call.   Since then he has served as pastor at Bethany Baptist in Reece City, AL and Baker's Chapel Baptist in Guntersville before joining our family at North Gadsden.  He received his Master of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary in 2003, and his  Doctorate in Ministry from Covington Theological seminary in 2004. His years of experience as a church lay worker laid a good foundation of experience as he entered a life in full- time ministry. 

He loves spending time with his grandchildren and relaxing with his model trains,  but David's greatest joy is in preaching the love and saving grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The folks at North Gadsden have the greatest love and respect for this man whom God has provided  to lead us in His Kingdom's work.  He truly is a member of our church family.

Perry Tigue - Minister of Music

Perry's ties to our church go back to when his father served as Music Director here many years ago.  He and his wife, Jana, have five children and four grandchildren whom they consider to be God's greatest blessing.   After having served several churches through the years in music and youth ministry, he joined the fellowship here in 1991. We are fortunately blessed to have such a wonderfully talented, and God fearing music director. That's hard to come by these days.

"I would like to extend an invitation to everyone.  Become a part of our Worship Ministry.  The only requirement is a desire to praise Him!  We meet for rehearsal every Wednesday night at 6:00.  We'd love to have you!"
